JEE Advanced 2023: Important Dates, Syllabus, Question Papers, and Admit Card

JEE Advanced is one of the major competitive examinations conducted in India to get a seat in one of the 23 Indian Institutes of Technology and Indian School of Mines in Dhanbad. The exam is conducted by the Joint Admission Board (JAB) and conducted by seven zonal IITs. IIT Guwahati has taken the responsibility of conducting the examination for 2023.

This exam opens the door for the much sought after seat in any of the IITs for undergraduate courses in engineering and integrated postgraduate courses for core science subjects. The ranking in the exam will decide the IIT you can choose for the programme. The eligibility criteria to appear for the exam is to qualify for the JEE Main exam. Only selected candidates who have qualified in JEE Main can appear in JEE Advanced. Last year, i.e. in 2022, around 2.5 lakh students had qualified in JEE Main to appear for JEE Advanced.

The JEE Advanced counseling process and allotment of seats will be done by the JoSAA (Joint Seat Allocation Authority). JEE Advanced Syllabus 2023 has been designed to evaluate a candidate's understanding and knowledge of fundamental concepts in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
